BIMI Record Checker

Validate your BIMI setup: we check the record, fetch and validate the SVG logo, detect your VMC, and confirm the DMARC enforcement that BIMI requires to display your logo.

What is BIMI?

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) displays your verified brand logo next to your messages in supporting inboxes. It builds trust and improves recognition — but only when the underlying authentication is solid.

The logo must be a specially profiled SVG (SVG Tiny 1.2 P/S), served over HTTPS, and referenced by the l= tag in the BIMI record.

BIMI requires DMARC enforcement

BIMI only works when your domain has DMARC at p=quarantine or p=reject. With p=none — or no DMARC at all — the logo will never display, no matter how perfect the record is.

Some inboxes (notably Gmail) also require a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC); others like Yahoo display BIMI without one. This checker flags both.

Frequently asked questions

Why isn’t my logo showing?
The most common reasons are DMARC not being enforced, an SVG that doesn’t meet the Tiny P/S profile, or a missing VMC (for Gmail). This checker pinpoints which applies.
Do I need a VMC?
Gmail requires a VMC to show your logo. Yahoo and AOL display BIMI without one. A VMC is recommended for the broadest support.
